Looks like Tony Stark is on his own in this new poster for Iron Man 3.
I believe the technical term is “screwed”.
Sideshow has revealed the full figure of Ultron on Throne Comiquette, including the exclusive version. There must be some deep-seeded desire amongst fanboys to rule because character son thrones is a very popular motif amongst statues. Then again, perhaps it isn’t so deep.
From Sideshow:
The rogue sentient robot is bent on conquering humanity, and your collection. This time we’ve given him his classic look – and his own throne. At 1:5 scale, our Classic Ultron is over a foot tall seated on his elaborate throne and features a striking adamantium paint application with bold red accents.
The regular and Exclusive versions of Classic Ultron on Throne Comiquette will feature the maniacal baddie holding Ant-Man’s head in his right hand. The Exclusive version will also include an additional switch out right hand, holding Vision’s head.

Sideshow has shared another sneak of Ultron. And they have given the project a title – Ultron on Throne. This comiquette poses an odd question. Is Ultron on the throne or is Ultron actually the throne? This appears to be an homage or interpretation of Ultron-6.
You know what? I’m pretty sure these are simply the ramblings of a fanboy attempting to apply comic book logic to art. When really I should just be going “Cool!”
I’m kind of digging this look. It manages to pay homage to the original comic book design, but turns the Asian-motif from caricature to eccentricity. Ben Kingsley looks like he carries considerable power with a nice tinge of insanity. Kind of a “What if Elvis had been a scientist instead of a musician?”

Skurge and Amora, the deadliest combo Thor has ever faced, are now painted and that much closer to be available to order from Bowen Designs. Randy Bowen has shared this image over at StatueMarvels.com. Executioner is a digital sculpt by Keith Kopinski, Enchantress is a traditional sculpt by Mike Cusinelli, paints by Randy Lambert and bases by Randy Bowen.
Notice the removable M-16 in Skurge’s base? A nice nod to the classic storyline by Walt Simonson!
Not sure what to expect, but so far it is definitely intriguing. Ultron is one of the great Marvel villains. He is kind of a mess emotionally, especially for a robot. His motives are always changing, but his methods are pretty consistent. He doesn’t really know what he wants, but he is pretty sure that humanity needs to be destroyed in order for him to get whatever it is.

Marvel has shared a new character poster on their Facebook page, The Iron Patriot. Don Cheadle looks ready to dish out pain and frozen treats!
