Sideshow has shared another sneak of Ultron. And they have given the project a title – Ultron on Throne. This comiquette poses an odd question. Is Ultron on the throne or is Ultron actually the throne? This appears to be an homage or interpretation of Ultron-6.
You know what? I’m pretty sure these are simply the ramblings of a fanboy attempting to apply comic book logic to art. When really I should just be going “Cool!”
On Sunday we will be getting a new Iron man 3 trailer during the Super Bowl. It costs approximately $3-4 million dollars for every thirty seconds of ad time, so I cannot begrudge Marvel for putting out a teaser for this event.
To make things even more interesting they have released a new poster featuring Tony Stark plummeting to Earth. I love this poster. It is very rare these days to see a poster that both depicts a potential scene from the movie but also delivers on the theme the film generates.

Form of giant robot fist!
Here is the newest trailer for Pacific Rim. A lot of the same footage from the first trailer, but with some added footage focusing on the technical side of operating a giant robot, or Jaeger. Happy Happy Joy Joy!
I am really warming up to this new Superman film, despite the movie looking rather cold. There is an obvious attempt to create a sense of depth and darkness to the Superman story. I have heard a number of fans worry that it will not have the same upbeat tone as the original Superman movie with Christopher Reeves.
This doesn’t bother me. How can Superman be considered a beacon of hope if there is no darkness to contend with? While the Richard Donner directed Superman films had a nice tongue-in-cheek attitude and kept things light, I don;t need a repeat of that. In fact, we already had that in Superman Returns. Let’s move on.
The only thing the Man of Steel film needs to honor from those great movies is their quality. So far it looks promising. Continue Reading
When the Vision Premium Format figure was first revealed I thought it looked kind of off. The pose is rather odd, kind of like something out of a 1930’s monster movie. there was really nothing about the piece that appealed to me. Now Sideshow has succeeded in making it even worse. The Exclusive figure has an alternate head, with Vision doing his best Raiders of The Lost Ark impersonation.

“I beat Flash Gordon to death and all I got was this lousy t-shirt.”
Here is the most recent Doc Samson sneak peek that Randy Bowen of Bowen Designs has posted. You can discuss the piece with Randy at Statue Marvels.
This guy is turning into quite the bruiser. I have always loved the look of Doc Samson, though I have no idea what inspired it.
