Looks like Tony Stark is on his own in this new poster for Iron Man 3.
I believe the technical term is “screwed”.
It was a bit of a disappointment that G.I. Joe: Retaliation didn’t come out last year. It looked good, especially to someone who refused to see the first one. Like me.
Anyway, see if you can spot the difference between the new poster and the old one after the jump. Enjoy the semi-new trailer as well. Continue Reading
Twentieth Century Fox has released an international poster for the upcoming “The Wolverine” film. I think it is possible that James Mangold’s poster is actually better than the entirety of the previous Wolverine movie.
You can also check out the motion version of the poster here.
I’m sure only raw meat and whiskey was served at this dinner. Collider.com has posted an exclusive poster of the next installment of the throwback action series.

Apparently their fire extinguishers were not up to code, as Dredd demonstrates.

Legendary Pictures will be producing a new Godzilla movie, to be directed by Gareth Edwards of “Monsters” fame. They released the new poster and some concept art at San Diego Comic-Con.
“Monsters” was a small, film that did a lot with its budget. Edwards did a fine job of creating a sense of danger, though the film was certainly more about the human characters than the alien creatures. I don;t doubt that he is capable of making the new Godzilla film, but I also didn’t see anything in “Monsters” that indicates he will bring something unique to the project. That isn’t to say he won’t. “Monsters” was a good movie, especially for a new director. It just didn’t have any “wow” factor for me.
All that said, he is smart enough to make Godzilla look like Godzilla.

Apparently The Amazing Spider-man has killed a dozen more basketballs for Superman to wear. I suspect when it is on the screen and Superman is not up close it will look great. However, when you see it this close the mesh is really distracting.
I have only seen two Zack Snyder films, 300 and Dawn of The Dead. I really enjoyed them both a great deal. 300 was a visually exciting piece of work and Dawn was a satisfying horror survival flick. I skipped Watchmen and Sucker Punch. I probably need to see Watchmen at some point, but I figure if I have read the comic I have seen the film. I’m wondering if that might be an unfair judgement.
As for Sucker punch, it looked kind of neat visually but eventually I saw enough trailers to convince me that the story was pretty damn weak. And the acting looked horrid. maybe some afternoon when I am 104 and constantly resuscitated by my iron lung I will give it a shot.
Three new posters for the Expendables 2. The first is the San Diego Comic-Co 2012 poster, with a very Eighties vibe going on.
The second is a banner featuring the entire crew. If there is an Expendables 3 (and how could there not be?) they will need to build a bigger banner.
The third is, well, the third one.
