Who would have ever thought ten years ago that a statement like that could hold water? It is true though and this new trailer is only confirming it further. The Marvel film universe keeps moving forward and this trailer indicates that it might actually be gaining steam. It is still too early to say if the film will be great, but this trailer has definitely made me interested.
Shane Black is obviously going darker and truly exploring Stark as a complicated character. At the same time you can definitely tell that the action is going to be there and be there big time.
Oh, and he had the balls to go full-Mandarin.
Bowen Designs has posted a sneak peek of the digital museum statue of Astonishing Wolverine. Sculpted by Sam Greenwell, this is definitely a high-demand version of the feral Canadian mutant. It is still a work in progress, so some changes will be coming. You can head over to Statue Marvels to discuss the statue. Click after the jump to see more pics! Continue Reading
Randy Bowen, of Bowen Designs, has released a sneak peek of the biggest, baddest Asgardian/Frost Giant, Skurge the Executioner! Digitally sculpted by Keith “KDAWG” Kopinski! This behemoth is destined to be a classic. He will tower over smaller, weaker statues and eat their lunch.
Randy has posted that an Enchantress statue is in the works.
You can discuss the statue at Statue Marvels.
Yeah, absolutely nothing about this movie interests me, outside of it being about the Lone Ranger. I like the Lone Ranger. I think it could be a cool property, as the Dynamite comic series has demonstrated. yet, I haven’t seen anything yet to convince me this film is worth seeing. Johnny Depp as Tonto sounds cheesy more than cool. As far as Armie Hammer, my problem with him isn’t that he won’t make a good Lone Ranger, but that he doesn’t even register on my “give-a-damn” meter. That and his first name is Armie.
What truly boggles my mind is that anyone would spend $250 million dollars on a western. Disney could make -6 movies that will gross them more than this monstrosity.
